At Houg Construction LLC we listen and understand what you want to accomplish, we recognize functionality needs to be balanced with design as well as cost, and we have the resources to carry out your plan.  We also know that plan modifications come along during a project and we are able to adapt to those changes.

We value each of our customers and are truly interested in knowing who they are and what their everyday activities consist of.  We know that by being personally involved in each building project.  By being personally involved, each project is created to fit your personal lifestyle.

We want to keep our company small.  We only take on a limited number of projects per year.  We prefer to do a small number of projects very well than do many projects average.  We strive to create a positive building experience by assuring you of quality materials and workmanship; service before, during and after the sale; and striving for excellence in custom construction.

Houg Construction LLC has come to mean innovation, quality, and service in the Sioux Falls area.  Being a full service custom builder and remodeler, we don’t just build and remodel houses, we build and remodel homes.

 

Who We Are

Houg Construction LLC is owned and operated by Craig and Melanie Houg.  Craig has over 25 years of residential homebuilding experience with a reputation built on excellence, common sense, professionalism, and courtesy.  Craig has a hands-on approach, personalized service, and handles all the construction issues and supervision of projects personally.  He knows firsthand what is happening on each project.  This approach produces results that are consistent with the clients’ expectations.
